Tbaytel Tamarack House
Since 2005 Tbaytel Tamarack House has been a home away from home for out-of-town patients and their companions for the duration of their cancer treatment. It offers 20 bedrooms with private bathrooms, kitchen facilities, a lounge, entertainment, laundry area, and a 24-hour on-site attendant.

Eleanor Drury Children’s Theatre
The Eleanor Drury Children’s Theatre (EDCT) is a charitable organization that makes children’s theatre accessible for our entire community. The welcoming and nurturing environment of EDCT encourages youth ages 6-18 to develop a variety of skills as they learn to stage incredible performances. From script writing, to acting, dancing, singing, set and costume design, the participants grow together in a safe and inclusive environment, creating a production they are proud to share with their audiences.

Hospice Northwest

Hospice Northwest is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate support and resources to clients and their loved ones. Hospice Northwest “helps make every moment matter” by offering comfort, support and a sense of connection to families and clients who are dealing with a life limiting illness or struggling with grief. The Board, staff and volunteers of Hospice Northwest all believe “how we die matters”.

Chantal is a gal on the go. Immediately after graduating from the Police Foundations program at Confederation College, Chantal looked for opportunities to interact with the community. Now her plate is full: in addition to chairing the Thunder Bay Crime Prevention Council Education Working Group, providing a student perspective to the Police Foundations Program Advisory Committee, and participating in the Thunder Bay Public Library’s Readers are Leaders program; Chantal is an active member of the Thunder Bay Police Service Zone Watch program.
